About My Research

I am not a natural academic. I have had to work hard and take the necessary time I needed to integrate my “design and commercial brain” with academic thinking.

Yet, what a gift it has been! I am continually amazed at how much this aspect of my career has broadened my perspectives and, in turn, how I view life. It is one of the main reasons I am so focused on providing valuable resources for non-designers.
